ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has frozen all bank accounts of Sui Southern Gas Company Limited.

According to Express News, it has been revealed that Sui Southern Gas Company Limited has defaulted on tax of Rs 23 billion, after which the Federal Board of Revenue has frozen all the bank accounts of Sui Southern Gas Company Limited.

Bank Accounts of Sui Southern Gas Company Limited were frozen by Large Tax Peer Office Karachi, a subsidiary of FBR. LTO froze the bank accounts and sent the report to FBR It has also recovered Rs. 312 million from the accounts.

A statement issued by the FBR confirmed that the bank accounts of Sui Southern Gas Company have been frozen, the company's accounts have been frozen due to non-payment of sales tax dues of Rs 23 billion, while 312 million has been collected in terms of sales tax.
