Series from Australia Preparations for the national Test cricketers have accelerated

 

Karachi: Preparations of national Test cricketers for the series from Australia have intensified.

Mutual match was held on Tuesday in the training camp at National Stadium. Bowlers and batsmen were given different targets. ۔

Azhar Ali, Fawad Alam, Imam-ul-Haq, Noman Ali, Sajid Khan and Saud Shakeel, six players of 16-member national squad for the series are participating in the training camp. Two cricketers from Yasir Shah and Mohammad Abbas are included in the camp. Additional players Alian Mahmood, Ahmed Bashir, Ali Usman, Arshadullah, Haseebullah, Mohammad Ali, Raza Mustafa and Taj Wali are also assisting.

Fast bowler Irfanullah Korona could not report due to a positive test. He will be replaced by national under-19 fast bowler Muhammad Zeeshan. The practice session will be held on Wednesday afternoon, the last day of the camp.

The first ODI will be played in Rawalpindi on March 29, the second on March 31 and the third on April 2. The only T20 schedule is scheduled at Pindi Stadium.

All three Test matches in the series are part of the ICC World Test Championship and all three ODIs are part of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League.
