New Delhi: A citizen of the Indian state of Assam became the owner of a scooter by collecting heaps of coins.
According to media reports, the man had been collecting coins in Assam for several months, after which he picked up a sack full of coins, went to the showroom to buy a scooter and bought a scooter bike.
The report said that three people picked up a sack full of coins of an Indian citizen and brought it to the showroom where many people could count together which took a lot of time.
Staff at the bike showroom counted the coins step by step and then placed the coins in a separate plastic basket.
The man, a resident of Barpeta district in Assam state, wanted to buy his own scooter for which he had been collecting coins for months and thus his wish was fulfilled.
This unique purchase of India was also discussed on social media, with consumers praising the new owner of the scooter and saying that drop by drop becomes the sea.
