ISLAMABAD: Two federal ministers of MQM have resigned from their posts.

According to sources, two federal ministers of MQM have resigned from their posts. Federal Ministers Aminul Haq and Forough Naseem sent their resignations to Prime Minister Imran Khan. The notification to accept the resignation will be issued with the approval of the Prime Minister.

According to MQM sources, the reason for not resolving issues with the government is their slowness. Prime Minister Imran Khan was a victim of ego. He kept sending his ministers but did not come himself, while the entire leadership of the opposition came to us again and again.

The contents of the agreement between the Muttahida Qaumi Movement and the opposition were brought to light by Express News. The agreement was signed by Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Bilawal Bhutto, Shahbaz Sharif, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Akhtar Mengal and Khalid Magsi.

Under the agreement, MQM will secede from the federal cabinet, in return for which the powers of local bodies will be increased. She will present the draft amendments in the local body law in the Sindh Assembly in a month.

It should be noted that with the separation of MQM from the government, the number of ruling coalition will be 164 while the number of united opposition will be 177.
