PESHAWAR: A former head of a peace committee was killed in an assassination attempt in Tank district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to details, the vehicle of the former head of the peace committee was hit by a remote controlled bomb in Jandola area of Tank.
Immediately after the blast, Nasrullah, the former head of the peace committee, was rushed to Jandola Hospital for first aid, where he succumbed to his injuries.
On the other hand, FC and police have cordoned off the area and launched an operation.
