Riyadh: For the first time since the Corona epidemic, the maximum number of worshipers will be allowed to worship at the Kaaba and the Prophet's Mosque this Ramadan, for which special preparations are being made.

According to Saudi media, the head of the administration of the two holy shrines, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, chaired a meeting regarding the preparations for Ramadan in which the action plan for providing the best facilities to the worshipers during Ramadan was reviewed.

Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais stressed on the complete ban on Corona SOPs for the health and safety of the pilgrims and said that the only condition for spending the holy month of Ramadan in the holy mosques is to be fully vaccinated.

He added that foreign pilgrims receiving unapproved vaccines would also have to take a booster dose and then register themselves as "fully vaccinated" on the Etemarana app.

Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais instructed the servants to spare no effort in providing a peaceful environment for worship in Ramadan and to enforce corona restrictions including social distance for the protection of the pilgrims.
