LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued a statement regarding threats against the families of Australian cricketers from India.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has said that it is fully aware of the threatening messages and posts from Cricket Australia players. Our security agencies are in touch with both the boards and are investigating the incident.
A spokesman for the PCB said that comprehensive security plans have been drawn up for social media activities and there is no threat in this regard.
Earlier, the Indian government had sent threatening messages to the Australian cricket team to stop the resumption of international cricket in Pakistan so that they too could leave the tour unfinished like the New Zealand team.
Recently, on 26 February 2022, the family of a member of the Australian cricket team visiting Pakistan received threatening messages on Instagram threatening them with dire consequences if they left for Pakistan.
