Lahore: It has been 28 years since Ghulam Farid Sabri, the teacher who brought the art of Qawwali to its peak in Pakistan, but his mesmerizing words still linger in our hearts.

Ghulam Farid Sabri celebrated the iron of his art all over the world by singing verses like "Bhar Do Jhooli Meri Ya Muhammad", "I have no one but you". He was also awarded several international awards including the Presidential Award for Excellence by the Government of Pakistan in 1978.
