New Delhi: One person was killed and dozens were injured in anti-Muslim riots in four Indian states.

In the Indian states of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Jharkhand and West Bengal, Hindu extremists attacked and looted Muslim homes and shops during religious rallies.

Hindu extremists, along with police personnel, broke into Muslim homes, insulted women and tortured men. One person was killed and dozens were injured in anti-Muslim riots.

Curfew has been imposed in various cities of Madhya Pradesh. Attacks on Muslim properties and homes are continuing in Gujarat.

Instead of stopping the Hindu attacks, the pro-Hindu police arrested several Muslims.

On the other hand, Muslim students at Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru University were banned from eating meat dishes. Muslim students who protest against the ban were injured 16 students from the violence of Papolis. Several Muslim students were also arrested.
