ISLAMABAD: Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister Azam Khan has written a letter to the Federal Secretary Home for the security provided to Prime Minister Imran Khan as a 'former Prime Minister'.

According to sources, Principal Secretary Azam Khan wrote a letter to the Federal Secretary of Home Affairs asking him to provide details about the security provided to the former Prime Minister.

The letter urged the Interior Ministry to provide a report on security details while also providing security details to the federal ministers after their resignation.
According to Interior Ministry sources, the concerned officials are reviewing the letter issued by the Prime Minister's Office. According to the protocol, security will be provided to the former Prime Minister.
