Lahore: Shahbaz Sharif's interim bail extended in money laundering case.
The Special Central Court heard the money laundering case against Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz. The court extended Shahbaz Sharif's interim bail and adjourned the hearing till April 27.
Central Court Judge Ijaz Hassan Awan heard the case. Shahbaz Sharif's lawyer Amjad Pervez filed a petition in the court seeking exemption from Shahbaz Sharif's presence.
Shahbaz Sharif's lawyer took a stand in the court that he is going on Umrah so a long date should be given in interim bail. Judge Fazil directed the lawyer to write a petition in the court.
Judge Fazil said that you should present the accused so that we can frame the charge and take the case forward. We have to look into the file. Shahbaz Sharif may or may not be charged individually.
Azam Nazir Tarar told the court that the investigation is complete and the report has been filed. The prosecutor said that we have not received any instruction yet.
The court adjourned the case till April 27 and extended the interim bail.
