LAHORE: The United Opposition has decided to field a PML-N candidate for the post of Chief Minister of Punjab.
PML-N has nominated Hamza Shahbaz for the post of Chief Minister in consultation with the party. The matter is likely to be approved by former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif. It is expected that Hamza Shahbaz's papers will be submitted on Saturday.
The PML-N is claiming that it has achieved the target of 186 members and will prove this number in the House. Not only does he have the full support of the Tareen group, but the Aleem group as well as the PPP assembly members will vote for him.
