As a result of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) boarding the opposition boat and the agreement reached between Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and PPP regarding the no-confidence motion, the people of Sindh are getting very angry. It is unfortunate for Sindh that Sindh has been given to the PPP by other federal parties involved in the struggle for power in such a way that Sindh has not been included in the priorities of other political parties.
To see what democracy means to this ruling party of Sindh, one can look at the state of Sindh province which has been on the brink of destruction for the last 15 years or so. The biggest abuse of the people of Sindh has been that the party responsible for corruption, incompetence, poor governance, hunger and unemployment, which should be held accountable first, is in fact trying to regain power once again. And its allies are still trying to get their majority by tricking the Sindh government.
On the basis of which the PPP and Muttahida Qaumi Movement have the most reservations for a common voter in Sindh, in fact these two parties have once again reached another agreement on the same grounds to achieve their political goals. During all this situation, the party which played a very negative role in the Sindh context was the PML-N, due to which Imran Khan seems to be benefiting from their joint agreement in Sindh.
In fact, the manner in which the people of Sindh have been forced to live under the burden of governance for the last 14 years has made it clear that the PPP has not only accumulated a history of bad governance in Sindh but also spent billions of rupees from the Sindh exchequer. Looting is also a feature of their rule. As a voter in rural Sindh, if I may say so, before the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) came to power, I was particularly impressed by the development that took place in Punjab under the leadership of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif during the PML-N regime.
The network of motorways, the black and yellow taxi, the laptop scheme, the refund of fees to the masters students, the amazing construction and development of Lahore city, the metro bus and the Orange Line train etc. were at least a surprise to me. Because I am the unfortunate voter of Sindh whose government has no choice but to sing the tune of democracy and martyrs. This was the reason why Abdullah, like Abdullah, who became obsessed with foreign marriages, dreamed of PML-N leadership and its style of governing in Sindh, even though the process of organizing within Sindh was among the PML-N's priorities.
