In addition, the administration has banned processions without permission. The use of loudspeakers is prohibited from 10 pm to 6 am. However, according to the rules, the use of loudspeakers in religious and public places and processions will continue to be allowed. Meanwhile, Piyush Mordia, joint commissioner of police (law and order) at the Lucknow police commissionerate, said anyone found in the capital without a mask would be fined.
He further said that in view of the Corona epidemic, special vigilance was required due to the central government's guidelines, programs, festivals and conduct of all entrance examinations. That is why these steps have been taken.

The order also said that restaurants, cinema halls, multiplexes, gyms, swimming pools, water parks and hotels in Lucknow would remain open at full capacity.
