ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif on April 3 demanded foolproof security.
Opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif in a letter to the Home Secretary demanded foolproof security on the day of the no-confidence motion.
Shahbaz Sharif said in the letter that the Prime Minister had announced that one lakh supporters of PTI would arrive on the day of no-confidence motion and therefore security of opposition members should be enhanced.
The letter further said that the district administration and the police should perform their duties in accordance with the constitution and law to ensure the security of the opposition members.
Shahbaz Sharif has also demanded foolproof security on the day of election of new Prime Minister. A copy of the letter has also been sent to Commissioner Islamabad, DC and IG.
