ISLAMABAD: The anti-government united opposition has welcomed the decision of the Supreme Court on the restoration of the National Assembly and unconstitutionality of Rowling on the motion of no-confidence of the Deputy Speaker.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), said that the decision of the Supreme Court was the winner of the entire nation and the Constitution of Pakistan and democracy and said that the judiciary gave a satisfactory decision fulfilling the expectations of the nation.
He said that tomorrow will not be a day of protest but a day of thanksgiving.
Shabhaz Sharif is grateful to the Supreme Court
On this occasion, PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif said that the prayers of 220 million people have been accepted by Allah and the Supreme Court has taken a decision which has saved the Constitution of Pakistan but Pakistan has survived.
He said that the Supreme Court has upheld its dignity and sovereignty for four moons, thankful to the Supreme Court, we have to fight the war against poverty and unemployment, we will fight this war as a country.
Finally, he said that he would hold a joint press conference with the United Opposition.
