Karachi: Due to uncertain political and economic situation and shortage of foreign exchange, the value of dollar remained uncontrollable in both the foreign exchange markets on Friday, for the first time in the history of the country, the interbank rate of dollar exceeded 184 rupees It was more than 185 rupees.

Pressure from external payments, especially the repayment of China's syndicated loans, continued to deplete foreign exchange reserves, putting pressure on both foreign exchange markets, with the Pakistani rupee weakening and the dollar steadily strengthening on a daily basis.

That is why the dollar has been flying since the beginning of trading on Friday, with the interbank rate of the dollar reaching Rs 184.69 on one occasion. The rupee closed at a new high.

On the other hand, in the open currency market, the dollar rose by 50 paise to close at a new high of Rs 185.50.
