Tokyo: Although it is very easy for a robot to perform simple tasks such as opening a door, it can be a bit difficult when taught in a human way. However, thanks to artificial intelligence, this task has been accomplished by dividing it into simple steps.

Robots that work like humans usually have to go through hundreds of thousands of attempts and errors, ie trials and errors, then they go somewhere and become experts in their work. Now, however, Hiroshi Aito, a professor at Waseda University in Japan, and colleagues have devised a new method that saves time, and the robot has learned to open doors faster.

Scientists have transformed this work model into simple steps or modules and they have been used for different tasks. That is, the robot was controlled from a module to reach the door. The second module is used to open the door and the third module allows the robot to enter through the door. The task was thus divided into three stages, from which the robot learned its task very quickly.

The robot completed the work with a total of six modules, and it took the robot 6 hours to master each module. In total, the robot took 36 hours. But the robot was shown 108 times or told how humans open the door. Some time ago Google used 14 robots instead of one or two for the same task and it took the robot two months to learn the whole task.

After receiving the training, the robot completed its work in 98% of its allotted time. In one test, he went through the door and came out again and did a total of fifteen laps in 30 minutes. He implemented all the modules learned during this time. That is, follow the instructions or modules one after the other.

According to scientists, in this way the robot increased its synchronization ability, which is a wonderful process. Thus, experts have discovered a new way to teach robots to work.
