ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry has said that the relations between Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Prime Minister Imran Khan are ideal and under no circumstances will these relations come under fire.
According to Express News, Fawad Chaudhry tweeted on social networking site Twitter that a campaign is being launched on social media to separate the government and the army. Imran Khan has made it clear that Pakistan's armed forces are a symbol of security and safety of the country. The relationship between the Commander-in-Chief of the Pakistan Army and the Prime Minister of the country will not be strained.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan has given additional portfolio of Law Ministry to Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry.
The development comes at a time when the ruling coalition Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan has decided to side with the United Opposition on the issue of no-confidence motion against Imran Khan and then a member of the law ministry. Resigned from the post.
