Ramadan is a blessed month. The greatness of this month can be gauged from the fact that the revelation of the Holy Qur'an took place in this month.
The Almighty has specially attributed this blessed month to Himself. The first ten days of Ramadan are for mercy, the second for forgiveness and the third for salvation from hell. When the moon of Ramadan appeared, he used to say that this moon is of goodness and blessings, this moon is of goodness and blessings.
Gabriel prayed that the person who got the month of Ramadan and he could not get his forgiveness should be killed, to which the Holy Prophet said: Amen! We should understand the importance of Ramadan by saying this prayer of Gabriel and saying Amen to it.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When the first night of Ramadan falls, the devils are bound and bound, and the rebellious jinn are closed, and the gates of Hell are closed. The gates of Paradise are opened and none of its gates is closed and a voice gives voice, O seeker of goodness! Go ahead, it is time for good and O lovers of evil! Abstain from evil and restrain your soul from sins, for it is time to repent of sins and forsake them. Fasting is a great duty which the Lord of Glory has assigned to Himself and on the Day of Resurrection the Almighty will reward and reward the fasting person.
In all the ways of worship that God has revealed to His servants, there must be some wisdom hidden in it. Prayer is a means of destroying God, in which the servant communicates with his true God. Ramadan is the month of the Almighty. Lord Dhu al-Jalal has a special relationship with this blessed month due to which this blessed month is distinguished from other months.
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir that the Holy Prophet (sws) said that my ummah was given five things in the month of Ramadan which were not given to any prophet before me He looks towards the side of mercy and the one towards whom the Almighty looks towards mercy will never be punished. Secondly, the smell of the mouth of a fasting person in the evening is better than the smell of musk in the sight of Allah. The third is that the angels pray for their forgiveness every night and day.
Fourthly, the Almighty, while commanding Paradise, says: Meaning: “Be adorned for My (righteous) servants! Soon they will find relief from the hardships of the world in my home and grace. Fifth, when the last night of the month of Ramadan comes, Allah forgives everyone.
It is narrated from Hazrat Shal bin Saad that one of the gates of Paradise which is named Ryan, through which only fasting people will pass on the Day of Resurrection, no one else will pass through this gate.
The Holy Prophet (sws) has said that the smell of the mouth of a fasting person is more pleasing to the Almighty than musk. It is as if the fasting person becomes the beloved of the Almighty and the smell of his mouth is pleasing and pleasing to the Almighty. Considering all these virtues of this blessed month of Ramadan, Muslims should make special arrangements for worship in this holy month and not let any moment go to waste. In this blessed month, worship has been prescribed as a duty in such a way that a person can be engaged in all his needs and wants with this worship and can also engage in this very special way of worship. Worship of God is called fasting, which is obligatory in this month.
Fasting is a wonderful act of worship in which a person can perform all his duties by fasting. By fasting, industry, trade and pilgrimage can do all the good deeds and then the great thing is that even when one is engaged in these deeds, the worship of fasting is performed by the fasting person without any hesitation and worship him. I always get the reward of engagement.
