ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has said that there is no truth in the reports that the next general elections will not be held in three months.

A spokesperson of the Election Commission has said that there is no truth in the reports that the next general elections will not be held in three months. The Election Commission has called an emergency meeting regarding the preparations for the elections.

The spokesman further said that the meeting would review the preparations in case of general elections and the Election Commission would fulfill its responsibility in accordance with the constitution and law.
