ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly session for voting on the no-confidence motion started at 10:30 am and was adjourned till 12:30 pm after continuing for half an hour, after which the session resumed at 2:30 pm Earlier, the proceedings of the House were again adjourned till 7.30 pm due to Iftar and prayers. Once again, the adjourned sitting was adjourned till 9.30 am.
A meeting of the National Assembly was held under the chairmanship of Speaker Asad Qaiser in which 176 members of the opposition and about 100 members of the government participated.
When Speaker Asad Qaiser started Question Hour, Opposition Leader Shahbaz Sharif asked for the floor. During Shahbaz Sharif's speech, slogans of traitors were chanted from government benches.
