ISLAMABAD: Matters are being worked out as to which party will get which ministry in the new government.
According to AMK News, the opposition parties are holding consultations on the formula for forming a new government.
Sources said that in the first phase, the allies would be accommodated in the cabinet as much as possible and in the second phase, other ministries would be given to PPP and PML-N members.
The PPP will get the post of Speaker in the National Assembly, Foreign Ministry and other important ministries. However, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has decided not to take any post in the new government.
Party sources said that the opposition alliance has also decided to impeach the incumbent president. After the impeachment, former president Asif Ali Zardari or Maulana Fazlur Rehman will be the presidential candidates. The Foreign Ministry penman is also likely to meet the PPP.
MQM is likely to get two to three ministries along with Sindh governorship, Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) is likely to get two ministries while PML-Q's Tariq Bashir Cheema is also likely to get important ministry.
According to sources, JUI is likely to be given 2 to 3 ministries, Akhtar Mengal 2 while Shahzain Bugti, ANP and Aslam Bhootani are also likely to be given one ministry each, while PML-N will get the most ministries. Is likely.
Party sources claimed that the PML-N would have other ministries including Interior, Information, Railways, Overseas, Finance and Defense.
